BLACKWOOD BROTHERS WELCOME NEW MEMBERS

Mike Hammontree has joined the quartet as pianist. Mike is from Jacksonville, Florida and has played the piano since he was very young. This is the first quartet he has played for and is a great addtion to the group. He and his wife Dana and sons Chad and Chase also have family miinistry group.

Jimmy's younger brother, Billy, joined the quartet in December of 2009, filling the baritone spot. Billy played drums with the group back in the seventies. He also traveled with Gordon Jensen and Sunrise, Andrus, Blackwood and Company and has been involved in church ministry and solo ministry. Lately, Billy has been co-writing with some of today's top gospel songwriters. Billy played drums on the new record and helped with vocal arrangements.
